The Municipality has commenced with the process of developing the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for 2017/2018.

The IDP is the Municipality’s principal strategic planning document and it forms the basis of the municipal budget. It is therefore crucial that community members and stakeholders contribute actively to the IDP process, thereby ensuring that their needs are addressed and prioritised in an integrated manner.   

Community members and stakeholders are invited to contribute to the public participation and consultation process by attending the public meetings, as prescribed in section 28 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000).
