NOTICE 3
While it is still a long way off, the Doringkloof Resident’s Association’s Annual General Meeting will take place in April 2017.
To forestall a last-minute rush to find nominations to form the DRA Committee, it is suggested that residents start to consider who should serve as a member of the DRA Committee. The idea is that by at least March 2017 we should have a list of nominees who are prepared to serve their community. It is therefore recommended that residents consider who should sit on the DRA committee and who will subsequently look after our interests.
Legally, nominees can be any resident of Doringkloof who is, naturally, a paid-up member of the DRA and is willing to be nominated. Nominees can be current members or former members of the DRA Committee, or even perhaps someone new.
This notice must not be seen as a means of replacing any current committee member. Indeed, should you find that the current members are doing their job satisfactorily then encourage them to stand again. This has often been how it worked in former years. If they are doing the job, why change?
Regards,
DNW Team
