Doringkloof village market

The community of Doringkloof is holding a great ‘not to be missed’ event next month.

This exciting event will take place on Tuesday 9th August 2022 -the first Doringkloof Village Market, which will cater for visitors of all ages.  The Doringkloof community is home to many talents and the local products will become known as ‘local is lekker’, and this will be the first event of its kind in our suburb. Applications for market stalls are streaming in and it already promises to be a memorable day.

The concept behind the creation of this market is to create our own unique and original style, motivating visitors and stall holders to return year after year.

The Doringkloof Village Market organising committee is committed to ensuring that only local crafts and products are sold and not the normal type of ‘flea market’ goods.

Event organisation kicked off in July with the naming of the market and the lucky winner will collect her prize on the day of the market.

Most of the stall holders will have facilities for card payments, but others will work on a cash basis – therefore bring cash and cards along. Refreshments will be in abundance, so bring along your whole family for a delicious breakfast.

The market will be held on the grounds of the SDA Church, 98 Koranna Avenue, Doringkloof with the majority of the stallholders from the Doringkloof Community. However, surrounding communities have been invited, not only to visit the market but to exhibit as well. Doringkloof is known for its caring, family-orientated community, and with this in mind, the stalls will be family-friendly and there will be plenty of safe parking.

The market will be open to the public from 09h00 until 15h00.

The market organisers invite all queries and questions that you may have.
