Good afternoon, Friends
We invite you and your family and friends to enjoy exploring and cycling in the Doringkloof spruit this Saturday 23rd July. All the main gates will be open from 8h00 to 16h00 to give you easy access to the veld with your bicycles. Please make use of this opportunity to visit areas you are not familiar with. Did you know there is a lovely field below the Karin Street Bridge? And above Jasper Street Bridge towards Botha Avenue?
There will be patrols done at random intervals in the spruit area to increase visibility and safety. The grass is short so cycling will be easy. Take some snacks with you and have a picnic wherever you find a good spot!
That same morning, I would like some helpers to pick up litter in the spruit and clear the fences.
We will meet at Glover Street bridge at 8h30 on Saturday 23rd July. Bring gloves and garden scissors.
There will be parking available.
